BARLEYCORN MUSIC CLUB

What we're about:

Our purpose is to support and promote original music in Cape Town, South Africa.

We meet every Monday at 7:30pm at theWalala Wasala Restaurant @ Villagers Football Club in Claremont, Cape Town.

Usually we showcase 3 acts per evening. We are a "listening" club, i.e. quiet whilst the musicians are playing.

Any money we make is used to fund our two annual events, the Songwriters' Competition and the Music Festival, We do NOT pay musicians to play, excepting "Feature" evenings and "Benefit" evenings, which are set up up by prior arrangement and require Committee consent.

Entrance is R 30 for members and R40 for non-members; food and drinks are available at the venue.
